Michelle Pfeiffer is sharing how she wound up with a black eye from playing pickleball.

Pfeiffer, 65, appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show Thursday and dished on a recent mishap she had while playing the trendy sport.

"Have you seen my Instagram?" the actor quipped, referencing her social media reveal of her injury, after host Drew Barrymore complimented Pfeiffer's looks. "I still have a black eye."

Pfeiffer shared that her intended first appearance on 48-year-old Barrymore's talk show was delayed after she developed a stye around one of her eyes and was forced to reschedule. Sure enough, another eye-related incident struck before she was scheduled to go on.

"Last Thursday I’m playing pickleball — the ball hits me in the eye," the Batman Returns actress said. "The first thing I thought, ‘I’m gonna have to cancel Drew again!'"
