Former First Lady (or forever First Lady to some!) Michelle Obama may have been able to woo some kids over to side of healthy eating, but on Tuesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, she may have met her match. Appearing on the popular late night show to promote her new Netflix series for children that focuses on healthy eating titled Waffles + Mochi, the nutrition advocate was joined by Jimmy Kimmel's six-year-old daughter Jane to prove how tasty vegetables can be. Unfortunately, though, Jane didn't quite get the memo.

Complimenting Jane on how "lovely" she looked, Mrs. Obama—who looked just as lovely if I do say so myself—wasted no time jumping into the "tough questions." Asking Jane, "Why don't you like vegetables?" the podcast host went on to tell a story of how she, too, was finicky as she only ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast up until the age of 19. So much for variety!

Though she attempted to sweetly convince Jane to try a plate of both carrots and green beans by playing the "small bite game," Jane stood firm and told THEE Michelle Obama that she would not do it simply because, "I just don't want to." And when she suggested throwing a green bean on top of a cheese pizza, Jane—who looked extremely disgusted, might I add—loudly responded "NO!" Can you imagine!?

Calling the cute moment "an epic fail," Michelle noted that though she gave it a good try, Jane was a tough one and "wasn't having it." Hopefully, in the next decade, Jane will have a change of heart and look back on this moment and wonder "what was I thinking?!"
