Michelle Obama Shares the Highs and Lows of Being First Lady on ‘Late Show’

Michelle Obama stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote her latest initiative, Let Girls Learn, empowering girls all around the world through education. We learned that the first lady is already preparing for life after the White House with early packing.

Michelle got to have some fun with Colbert, including lying down in a makeshift blanket fort and doing a spot-on impression of her husband. When asked about embarrassing moments or regrets, she answered that there were lots, and they usually involved mispronouncing people’s names. It’s why, she joked, she would call everyone “Sweetie.”

A highlights of her tenure as first lady was a sleepover at Buckingham Palace, particularly eating the french fries.

The Late Show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m./10:35 p.m. CT on CBS.
