It is a bad day to be in court for Michael Lockwood as he received a court verdict that he was definitely not expecting in the ongoing battle with Lisa Marie Presley. According to sources, the American guitarist and producer was told to pay the sum of $140,000 as attorney charges, to his ex-wife's lawyer. This declaration was made by a California judge and the news has been all over social media. Radar Online also reported that the money may be a problem for Lockwood, as he has been strained financially, in the course of the divorce.

The producer once revealed that during the holidays, he had to pass several nights staying at a Holiday Inn and this helped him take on several types of jobs to make ends meet. This is an unfortunate time for Lockwood and it seems like the battle for custody with his ex-wife, Lisa Marie Presley, is far from over. The court ruling happened on December 16, and another hearing has been fixed for December 20, 2019. According to the ruling, Lockwood is to pay $129,000 for attorney fees and $11,801 as an additional cost.

The ex-lovers are in a court brawl over the custody of their twin daughters; Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood.

After being married for a decade, Michael Lockwood filed for a divorce in 2016, hence the court battle began. In 2017,Presley revealed that her twins had been placed in protective custody and she declined spousal support from her ex-husband. According to the actress, she was scared for her children's lives because she allegedly found evidence of child pornography on his computer.

Presley is the only child of Priscilla Presley and late Elvis Presley. Her marriage to Lockwood, is the fourth marriage going down the drain and she has four children in total. Aside's Presley's claims about pictures and videos of child pornography on Lockwood's computer, the model is not interested in sharing the custody of her twin children with Lockwood.

Surprisingly, this is not the only court battle Presley is facing this year as she is in a long-term court battle with her former business manager, Barry Siegel.

Presley filed to the court, stating that Siegel squandered her $100 million fortune and left her in a bad state. She also mentioned that without her permission, Siegel went ahead and sold 85% of her shares to butter up an investor. However, the business manager denied these claims stating that every transaction he carried out after he was fired were potentially relevant.

With this ongoing lawsuit, Presley is reportedly not in good terms with her mother, Priscilla, as the duo are in disagreement over Elvis Presley's biopic. Presley believes that her mother portrayal of the relationship she had with Elvis Presley will be criticized because she met him when she was only fourteen years old.
