Michael Strahan Admits He's 'Scared' to Be Driven Around by His Twin Daughters: 'Let Me Drive'

The 'Good Morning America' co-host shares twin daughters Isabella and Sophia with ex-wife Jean Muggli

Michael Strahan isn't having fun being a backseat driver.

On Sunday, the Good Morning America co-host, 52, shared a relatable video on his Instagram showing him in the car as he sat behind his twin daughters. Daughter Sophia sat in the driver's seat next to sister Isabella, both 19, rocking out to music while their dad recorded a video.

"I just figured out I don’t like being driven around by my kids.  Scared sh**less LOL #GirlDad #LetMeDrive," Strahan teased in his caption.

In addition to Isabella and Sophia, who he shares with ex-wife Jean Muggli, Strahan is dad to son Michael Jr., 29, and daughter Tanita, 32, who he shares with ex-wife Wanda Hutchins.

Strahan's daughter Isabella was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October, first sharing her news during a segment on Good Morning America alongside her dad.

"It's been like, two months of keeping it quiet, which is definitely difficult. I don't wanna hide it anymore 'cause it's hard to always keep in," she said at the time. "I hope to just kind of be a voice, and be [someone] who maybe [those who] are going through chemotherapy or radiation can look at."

The 19-year-old student continued, saying that the experience has shifted her perspective on life, with her dad agreeing.

"You learn that you're probably not as strong as you thought you were when you have to really think about the real things, and I realized that I need support from everybody," Strahan said on GMA. "You think, 'I'm the athlete, the tough guy, you know, I can come and handle, I'm the father in the family.' It is not about any of that. It doesn't matter. And it's really made me change my perspective on so many things in my life."

At the end of February, Strahan shared an update on his daughter, announcing that she is “fighting through” her treatment after having a small setback that landed her back in the hospital.

"The last three days have been a little rough because she had a fever that kind of comes and goes," he explained. "I had to take her to the hospital and thought she'd come home a few hours later... It's been three days, but hopefully she'll be home today."

Despite dealing with the symptoms of chemo, the host explained that Isabella hadn't gone through anything that the two hadn't expected. He shared that he's doing his best despite seeing her endure this difficult experience.

"It is tough to see her go through it, but I know she's a tough young lady and she's going to make it through it," he said.
