Michael Rapaport Rips ‘Holier Than Thou’ John Oliver Over Dustin Hoffman Confrontation (Video)

Michael Rapaport has responded to John Oliver’s confrontation of Dustin Hoffman over recent sexual harassment allegations against the actor by blasting the British comedian.

On Tuesday, after HBO host John Oliver grilled Hoffman during the allegations, Rapaport fired off a salty-tongued reply to Oliver via his Twitter account, tearing into “holier than thou” comedian in a video.

“This motherf—er John Oliver, holier than thou, fake-ass freedom fighter, at a screening for the 20th anniversary of the Dustin Hoffman film ‘Wag the Dog,’ started asking him about these sexual allegations that are unproven ,” Rapaport said in the video.

“I’m totally against any sexual harassment in any way, shape or form. But I’m also against any unproven sexual harassment in any way, shape or form,” the “Atypical” star continued.

“John Oliver asked 80-year-old Dustin Hoffman the question about these allegations. Dustin Hoffman said, ‘No, it didn’t go down like that,’ and then motherf—ing John Oliver kept going,” Rapaport recalled. “F—ing John Oliver, you didn’t tell the Tribeca Film Festival, including Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro, that you were going to be doing that shit live on stage, did you? You wanted to catch the motherf—er off-guard, because you’re a fake-ass motherf—ing freedom fighter.”

Rapaport concluded, “I wish 80-year-old Dustin Hoffman would have got up and told you to suck his 80-year-old d— live on stage, punk-ass motherf—ing John Oliver.”

Of course, that might have opened Hoffman up to yet another sexual harassment allegation…

During a frequently tense live Q&A session on Monday night, Oliver questioned Hoffman over recent accusations by women of sexual harassment.

“Do you believe this stuff you read?” Hoffman asked the HBO host, who mentioned accusations by a former 17-year-old intern on the set of Hoffman’s 1985 TV movie “Death of a Salesman.”

“I believe what she wrote, yes,” said Oliver. “There’s no point in her lying.”

“Well, there’s a point in her not bringing this up for 40 years,” Hoffman retorted.

“Oh, Dustin,” replied Oliver.

“You weren’t there,” the actor told Oliver.

“I’m happy [I wasn’t],” Oliver replied.
