Michael Moore wants Donald Trump to go away so the country can elect a “real president.”

Wednesday night, the Oscar-winning documentary maker posted a long message to Trump on Facebook both recounting the first time they met years ago and his contempt for Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States in the wake of multiple terrorists attacks.

Before posting his message to Trump in the form of an open letter, Moore said he stood outside Trump Tower and held a sign “until the police came.” His sign read “We Are All Muslim.”

In his letter, Moore first reminds Trump they met in November 1998 while both appearing on an unidentified talk show. Moore claims the producer of the show told him Trump was uneasy about appearing with him on the show because the former Apprentice host believed Moore would make trouble for him, according to the Facebook letter.

Moore explains that he told Trump then that he did not know the billionaire businessman, except by name, and they would get along fine, and they did. “'What a wuss,’ was all I remember thinking as I left the set,” Moore wrote.

The director of the upcoming Where to Invade Next then fast-forwards to the present, addressingTrump’s recent call to ban Muslims from entering the country.

Moore tells Trump that, like “many other angry white guys,” he has chosen those of the Muslim faith to be his “bogeyman.”

“Here’s a statistic that is going to make your hair spin: Eighty-one percent of the electorate who will pick the president next year are either female, people of color, or young people between the ages of 18 and 35. In other words, not you. And not the people who want you leading their country,” Moore wrote.

Moore goes on to say that everyone, no matter their race, religion and so on, are bothers and sisters to each other.

“We are all Muslim,” Moore wrote. “Just as we are all Mexican, we are all Catholic and Jewish and white and black and every shade in between.”

In closing, Moore asks the “whiny and scared” Trump to step aside so Americans can start to focus their attention to “real” candidates for president.

“You’re not so tough, Donny,” Moore writers. “And I’m glad I got to see the real you up close and personal all those years ago.”
