Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa talk ‘Goodfellas,’ ‘Casino’ anniversaries

It's a Scorsese milestone: Two of his beloved movies, "Goodfellas" and "Casino," are celebrating anniversaries this year. "Goodfellas" turns 30 and "Casino" turns 25. Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa, both alums of "The Sopranos," spoke to Yahoo Entertainment about their small roles in those films. Imperioli recalled a stunt gone awry during his death scene which sent him to the emergency room. "A glass broke in my hand and I sliced open my fingers," he said. But the medical staff was confused as it also appeared he had three gunshot wounds. And after Imperioli convinced them it was just Hollywood visual effects, they "made me wait in the corner for about four hours." Schirripa has a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo in "Casino" in the violent scene were Joe Pesci's character stabs a character with a pen. Despite appearing onscreen for a fraction of a second, it earned him his SAG card.
