Michael Fassbender Shows Off Bizarre Talent on ‘Late Night’

On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Michael Fassbender demonstrated a bizarre hidden talent. The Assassin’s Creed star told Seth that growing up in Southern Ireland, he didn’t have access to British television channels. The channels he did get aired a lot of American TV shows, so he has a vast knowledge of TV theme songs from the 1980s.

Since Seth was a child of the ’80s, he made it into a challenge to see if he could guess the shows just from Michael humming the song. But Michael didn’t just hum the songs, he turned his mouth into a synthesizer.

Michael didn’t make it easy on Seth, pulling out some pretty obscure theme songs. The first was from Trapper John M.D., the M*A*S*H spinoff, followed by the theme song for Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Seth was completely baffled both times, so Michael went with a show that had a much more recognizable theme song, The A-Team. Seth was able to hum along with that one, although, he jokingly guessed it was from St. Elsewhere.

Late Night With Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35 p.m. on NBC.
