Michael Fassbender rides across the frontier in 'Slow West'
Slow West, the Michael Fassbender film from director John Maclean that had this year’s Sundance Film Festival buzzing, finally has a trailer. The Western spans the beautiful landscape of Scotland to the rugged terrain of the frontier following a 16-year-old boy’s quest to track down the girl he loves.
The boy, Jay Cavendish (Kodi Smit-McPhee), finds a chaperone in Silas Selleck (Michael Fassbender) and the two set off on a wild adventure filled with guns, horses, and bows and arrows. But, they find themselves racing against a band of bounty hunters who also happen to be searching for the girl and her father who have a huge reward on their heads.
Slow West premieres on DirecTV April 16 and opens in theaters and becomes available on VOD May 15.
