Michael B. Jordan is uninjured after he was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed to PEOPLE that a car hit a parked vehicle just past 11:30 p.m. local time in Hollywood, California, on Saturday night.

Though police did not confirm the identities of anyone involved in the collision, TMZ reported that the actor, 36, was behind the wheel of the car that collided with the parking vehicle.

No one was arrested related to the collision, the LAPD told PEOPLE. There were also no injuries associated with the incident, and a source confirms to PEOPLE that Jordan was not injured.

ABC 7 News reported that the Ferrari involved in the collision was registered to the Black Panther actor, citing DMV records.

A representative for Jordan did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Jordan was expected to accept the Vantage Award presented by Christopher Nolan at the Academy Museum Gala on Sunday night but missed the event. Instead, his older sister Jamila Jordan-Theus accepted the honor in his absence, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

News of the Creed III actor's accident came just hours after Will Smith announced that the sequel to his 2007 blockbuster I Am Legend, which is set to star Jordan, is making progress.

"The script just came in," Smith, 55, shared at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. "We're really close."

He added that the film, which he and Jordan are set to co-produce, is going to follow "the mythology of the DVD version" of the first film's storyline, where his character lived instead of dying, as he did in the theatrical version.

"I can't tell you anymore," Smith said. "But Michael B. Jordan is in, and we're doing it."
