Michael B. Jordan’s Ferrari Has ‘Major Damage’ After Reported Car Accident in Hollywood

If I Am Legend is one of your favorite Will Smith movies, you were thrilled by the news in 2022 that the star is returning for a sequel to the 2007 horror/thriller. Even more exciting was the announcement that Black Panther’s Michael B. Jordan would join him in the film. Considering that Will’s Robert Neville died at the end of the movie, fans had a lot of questions about how he’s going to return for the follow-up.

On Saturday, the Oscar winner dropped a few breadcrumbs about what audiences can expect. According to Variety, while speaking during an In Conversation panel at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, the King Richard star revealed a major plot point for the highly-anticipated follow-up.

According to KTLA, LAPD officers responded to a “traffic collision” around 11:35 p.m. at Sunset Blvd. and Beachwood Drive. Police discovered “that a vehicle had struck another one that was parked.” TMZ reports that Jordan’s Ferrari was involved in the accident, and he was driving at the time.

The LAPD took an accident report at the scene, but no one was injured and no one charged or arrested. KTLA reported that “Jordan was not cited,” wasn’t under the influence of any substances and wasn’t “suspected to be a factor in the crash.” Both cars were “heavily damaged” in the incident.

I know these types of stories are usually surrounded by more controversy, but sometimes a car accident is truly just an accident. The important takeaway here is that there were no injuries and the only damage was to the vehicles, which can be repaired.
