Miami Model Charged With Second Degree Murder In Stabbing Death Of Boyfriend

Courtney Clenney, a social media influencer who boasts millions of followers, has been charged with second degree murder for the stabbing death of her boyfriend, Christian “Toby” Obumseli, nearly five months after he died. The 26-year-old was arrested in Hawaii, where her lawyer says she was in a rehab facility for substance abuse and PTSD. In April, 2022, police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a luxury Miami high-rise. When they arrived, it is reported they found Clenney in a bikini top and covered in blood – and Obumseli with a knife wound to the shoulder. Obumseli was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Clenney claims Obumseli was abusive and she acted in self-defense -- but Obumseli’s attorney and family members say they believe he was the one being abused. Now, state prosecutors say they have new evidence in the case. In the video above, hear what they say Clenney told investigators, what the 911 call revealed, and what a newly discovered video shows.
