In the wild romance that is Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), gestures of love have always been grandiose, to say the least. From voodoo-inspired matching tattoos on their ring fingers to public declarations of adoration that involve drinking each other’s blood, this couple knows no bounds when it comes to expressing their feelings. However, MGK’s latest tattoo venture might just be the most telling symbol of his commitment to Megan Fox yet.

The rapper, born Colson Baker, recently revealed a significant transformation of his upper torso into a canvas of ink, a bold move that sources claim is a romantic gesture for Megan Fox. This isn’t just any tattoo; it’s a blackout piece, covering much of his skin in solid black ink, save for some designs that are meaningful to the couple. “For spiritual purposes only,” MGK captioned a photo showing off the fresh ink that required 44 needles to complete.

MGK’s tattoo artist, ROXX, said MGK started the process of covering up a majority of his torso in black ink at her private LA studio, 4 days a week for 13 six-hour sessions, per TMZ.

Blackout tattoos are often seen as a form of transformation, covering up the past to create something new. For MGK, this could symbolize a readiness to embrace a future where Megan Fox plays a central role. This intense expression of love and the willingness to undergo such a dramatic change for one’s partner might raise eyebrows. Yet, for Megan Fox and MGK, it seems to fit perfectly within the narrative of their relationship—and Fox is apparently all about it.

“Colson has told Megan that one major reason he did his latest blackout tattoo was not only for a spiritual reason, but he also wanted her to know he did it for her,” a source close to the couple revealed to DailyMail.

“He wants her to know that no matter what one does with their own body, they both share each other and his body is her body and he also wants to remove so much confusion from his previous tattoos,” the source continued, adding that, “He wants to move the confusion that ends up in their relationship from time to time and show her he can change for the benefit of himself and their relationship.”

Blackout tattoos are often seen as a form of transformation, and they have roots in Polynesian, South Asian, and Sub-Saharan African body art, according to Tattooing 101. For MGK, this could symbolize a readiness to embrace a future where Megan Fox plays a central role. It’s a physical manifestation of his love and commitment, speaking volumes more than words ever could.
