And that, kids, is how TV father and son reunited.

David Henrie linked up with former costar Josh Radnor on Friday and posted a photo of their get-together on Instagram. Henrie, 34, played Luke, the son of Radnor’s character Ted Moseby, on How I Met Your Mother.

“Found my father. Finally,” Henrie jokingly wrote in the caption, adding a hashtag of the show’s initials.

While the hit CBS sitcom mainly focused on Ted finding love while living in New York City with his friends, Henrie and Lyndsy Fonseca (who played Ted’s daughter Penny) were featured in scenes that took place in the year 2030, as Ted recounted the story of how he met his children’s mother.

The series aired for nine seasons from 2005 to 2014. Radnor starred alongside Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel. The show was narrated by Bob Saget as Ted in the future and eventually revealed Cristin Milioti’s Tracy McConnell to be the eponymous mother.

In September, Radnor celebrated the 18th anniversary of the show’s premiere on Sept. 19, 2005. The actor marked the occasion with a throwback photo of the cast in a booth at the fictional MacLaren’s Pub, smiling for the camera as Segel took a selfie.

“Look at those babies! Apparently ‘How I Met Your Mother’ premiered eighteen years ago (yesterday, I think)!!! How is that possible??” Radnor reflected in the caption of his Instagram post.

He continued, “I am immensely grateful to have been part of a show that continues to mean so much to so many people. It’s hard to fully appreciate something like that in the moment but all these years later I got nothing but love for that show and the people I made it with.”

“Thanks to everyone for continuing to watch it and quote it and remind me of the hilarity and depth of what we created. Means a lot. And Happy 18th HIMYM!!” Radnor concluded.

Smulders commented on the post, writing, “We WERE babies!!!!!! What a fantastic ride. ❤️xo.”

@cobiesmulders and you were the babiest baby of all the babies!” Radnor replied to Smulders, 41.
