It’s only been eight months since the last one, but the Met Gala is back! After COVID-19 forced last year’s Met Gala to move to the fall, this year finds it returning to its traditional slot on the first Monday in May. The official co-chairs for the event are Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King, with Anna Wintour continuing to serve in her honorary co-chair role. This year’s theme is “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” which allows stars to mine American fashion history for inspiration for their looks.
