Meghan Markle recently sported the look during her trip to Nigeria with Prince Harry, and now the style has received a seal of approval from Hollywood royalty. None other than Oscar-winner Meryl Streep showed off her sartorial chops at Cannes in a swoon-worthy summer look you'll want to immediately add to your warm-weather dressing inspo.

Ahead of receiving an honorary Palme d'Or at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival, the star attended a photocall, donning a crisp white crepe pantsuit by Michael Kors Collection with a navy and white Lilysilk Amalfi Stripe Silk Shirt, and an eye-catching wide-brimmed straw fedora by Gigi Burris. She offset the look with metallic silver Jimmy Choo pumps, glinting hoops by Zameer Kassam, and timeless cat-eye sunglasses by Prada—perfect for the Devil Wears Prada star.

Streep was the guest of honor at the opening ceremony of this year's festival, where she was lauded for her contributions to the art of film throughout her career. "I am immeasurably honored to receive the news of this prestigious award," Streep said ahead of the event. "To win a prize at Cannes, for the international community of artists, has always represented the highest achievement in the art of filmmaking. To stand in the shadow of those who have previously been honored is humbling and thrilling in equal part."

Despite her storied resume of roles—for which she's won three Oscars out of a whopping 21 Academy Award nominations—the festival noted on its website that this only the Streep's second Cannes accolade, following her Best Actress win for Evil Angels 35 years ago.
