Meredith Marks Found a Surprise "Secret Room" in Her New House: See Inside

On the September 12 Season 2 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Meredith Marks showed her new home's stunning living room, pristine bathroom, and chic bedroom. However, we didn't get to see the "best part" of the home — until now.

On the show's September 15 Never Before Scene episode, previously unaired footage showed Meredith explaining a unique part of the abode to Heather Gay. As she opened a cabinet, Meredith asked, "You ready to see the best part?" to which Heather replied in confusion, "A spice cupboard?"

While it looked like an ordinary cupboard, it was actually a door leading to a hidden room. "I didn't even know the secret room was there until we actually moved in," Meredith explained in an interview. "It was just a bonus."

Heather was blown away as they entered, joking, "We can invite men back here." The room, Meredith explained, "was designed as a cigar room." Later, she quipped, "It's like the secret room of debauchery."

On the September 12 episode of RHOSLC, Meredith opened up about why she decided to move to a new house. "After everything Seth and I went through last winter, we decided we wanted a fresh start," she explained. "So we found a new home with much better views and it's much more reflective of our style."
