Memphis football will face East Carolina at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 and the game will be televised on ESPNU, the AAC announced Monday.

This will be the Tigers' (4-1, 2-0 AAC) first trip to ECU since 2018, a game the Tigers won 59-41. ECU (3-2, 1-1) won last year's game 30-29 in overtime at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

It will also be ECU's homecoming game at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

The game will be Memphis' first road game in over a month after a four-game homestand concludes hosting Houston on Friday (6:30 p.m., ESPN2). The Tigers' first two games this season were at Mississippi State and Navy.

Memphis' win at Navy was just the second AAC road win for the Tigers since coach Ryan Silverfield was hired after the 2019 AAC championship game. The previous AAC road win was also at Navy in 2020.
