The Most Memorable ‘Real Housewives’ for the Debut of the 100th Housewife

Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres July 10, and it features both the original Housewife, Vicki Gunvalson, who has been with the show since it premiered in 2006, and the newest Housewife, Peggy Sulahian.

Sulahian is the 100th Housewife introduced to the franchise, so in her honor, we decided to rank the five most memorable Housewives from the show.

At No. 5, we have Lisa Rinna, from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Whether the loudmouthed former soap star was weirdly referring to her husband, Harry Hamlin, by his full name or breaking a wineglass while screaming at Kim Richards, Rinna was always an unpredictable and kooky treat.

At No. 4 is Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kim Zolciak. From her insane, repetitive single, “Tardy for the Party,” to the wig-pull heard round the world, Zolciak has kept her name on everyone’s lips. She even scored her own reality show, Don’t Be Tardy.

And at No. 3 is NeNe Leaks, another Atlanta Housewife. Known for her amazing one-liners and GIF-worthy facial expressions, Leaks parlayed her time as a Housewife into appearances on Glee, The New Normal, and Celebrity Apprentice.

At No. 2 is Teresa Guidice, from Real Housewives of New Jersey. While the Real Housewives franchise is no stranger to fights, Guidice’s table-flipping moment remains unparalleled in the show’s drama-filled history. This Housewife made even more headlines when she was sentenced to prison for bankruptcy fraud.

And at No. 1 is Real Housewives of New York City‘s Bethenny Frankel. Frankel began her run on the show as a struggling entrepreneur, and she started a Skinnygirl empire and got her own spinoff, even her own talk show. The straight-talking Frankel is one of the most unique and memorable Housewives to come out of the series.
