Melissa & Joe Gorga Show the Jaw-Dropping Foyer They’re Building in Their New House

In the video above, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga share a look at day one of construction on their new home, explaining it will be “modern” with a “big closet” and “big kitchen.” More recently, Melissa revealed that the house will also have a very impressive foyer.

In July 27 Instagram Story photos, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member reposted photos, originally shared by interior designer Yelena Gerts of House of Style & Design, that showed her in-progress entry space. On a photo showing a curved staircase, Melissa wrote, “My interior designer will blow your mind. She’s amazing.”

Although we’ll have to wait to see the final design of the home, Melissa teased her inspiration in a December 2020 Instagram post. “I’m gonna design my new house kinda like this outfit [and] my persona,” she wrote in a caption at the time. “Classy, with a little spicy mixed in.”

Earlier this year, Melissa told BravoTV.com that the home build wasn’t exactly going according to plan. “It took us so long just to get the permits to frame [the house], you have no idea,” she said. “It’s costing us double the amount of money, and it’s taking triple the amount of time to get the materials. So we’re probably building a house in the absolute worst time possible, but we’re doing it anyway.”
