Melissa Gorga Reacts To Negative ‘Spin’ Around Her Seeing Joe Giudice in the Bahamas

Real Housewives of New Jersey is two episodes into a volatile season. Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice aren’t speaking to one another, and the sheen is wearing off of Luis Ruelas. Jennifer Fessler just made a lot of enemies by filling Teresa in on the pre-reunion strategy meeting at Margaret Josephs‘ house. Jackie Goldschneider’s loyalties will also be questioned.

It was pointed out that there is no trust within the group. Perhaps it all stems from Teresa’s long-standing feud with her sister-in-law. But at least seeing Joe Giudice in the Bahamas brought forth harmony and feelings of goodwill.

Melissa called the meeting “the most innocent”

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Melissa spoke about running into Joe in the Bahamas a year prior while on vacation.

Perhaps taking Teresa out of the equation was the winning ticket because the RHONJ star revealed that she and her husband had a pleasant time catching up with Joe. Fans will recall that Teresa’s ex-husband has lived in the Bahamas for years following his deportation from the United States.

“We were really just on a vacation with our friends and I actually think he knew where we were,” Melissa revealed. “We were in the same casino at the same time, we literally just ran into him.”

“There’s always a spin,” she said, referring to the controversy the meeting created.

Joe captured the moment of meeting his former brother-in-law at a casino. They greeted each other with smiles and embraced.

“Both walked into the same bar at the same time. A lot of history there,” Joe Gorga captioned the Instagram Reel. “We have memories since we were kids. I’m happy he’s doing well and looks good. We were both happy to see each other and catch up.”

Melissa told WWHL host Andy Cohen the meeting “was the most innocent thing there could be.”
