Melania Trump Talks Assault Allegations With CNN’s Anderson Cooper Tonight, FNC’s Ainsley Earhardt Tomorrow Morning

For the second time in as many weeks, Melania Trump will address controversy concerning her husband. This time she’s giving Anderson Cooper her first sit-down interview since the allegations concerning her husband became public, tonight at 8 PM ET on CNN.

Cooper’s the guy who asked Trump, at the second presidential debate, if he had in fact kissed or groped women without their permission, as the GOP candidate had boasted in that 2005 Access Hollywood tape leaked two days earlier. Trump told Cooper he had not, and dismissed as “locker room talk” his remarks to Billy Bush in the tape, published two days before the debate by Washington Post. Some of the nine women who have come forward saying Trump did to them exactly as he had boasted to Billy Bush in the tape, said they did so because of Trump’s response to Cooper’s debate questions.

The day after the tape was published by WaPo, Melania broke her silence, saying in a statement: “The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me,” reads the statement. “This does not represent the man that I know. He has the heart and mind of a leader. I hope people will accept his apology, as I have, and focus on the important issues facing our nation and the world.”

Trump’s wife also sat down with Fox & Friends’ Ainsley Earhardt in an interview to sneak peek on FNC’s The Five tonight and tomorrow, in full, on Fox & Friends.
