"Megxit" Totally Blind Sides Other Royals, What Will Happen Now?
The British tabloids are having a field day with the news of Harry and Megan's split from the royal family. Dubbing the affair as "Megxit" The situation is certainly not all fun and games though. According to reports by anonymous sources to the British newspaper "The Sun", neither the Queen nor Prince Charles new about the matter. The IG post that was used to announce the news was not cleared by anyone in the royal household. This has certainly made sparks fly in Buckingham Palace.

What Is The Queen's Take On The Matter?
According to the same reports by the British newspaper The Sun, the queen is said to be "upset". As are many of the senior royals. Since the IG post was apparently not cleared by anyone at the palace the feeling is that Harry did this behind their backs. In the same post though Harry and Megan are alluding to the fact that they will continue to collaborate with Her Majesty. It really depends on what kind of role they are given in this new life.
Will Megan Return To Acting?
At this point pretty much all of those possibilities are still on the table. Especially since the post highlights the couple's desire to become "financially independent". Given that Megan was financially independent before she married Harry and she was so thanks to her job as an actress it would be reasonable to assume that she would continue her career. It is not like she learned how to work as a paralegal for her role in suits. Yet, this career choice could be pretty conflicting with the palace.
What Could Harry Do Now?
Contrary to popular belief there was a point in his life when Harry did hold a formal job post. He served in the military piloting different types of aircraft. Yet, it would be kind of hard to see him become a mercenary or a commercial airline pilot.
The route that Harry is most likely to follow is the diplomatic route. He could serve as an advisor and ambassador for British businesses abroad. That is probably a better fit for the prince at this point.
The American Side Of The Family
There is an argument to be made that this past holiday season was a bit of a precursor for things to come. The couple was spotted doing normal things in Canada such as shopping at local markets. There is a chance that they both will be stripped of their royal titles and royal allowance. Especially with some of the news that is coming out about the royal family not taking the news so well. So they could be a lot closer to Megan's mom and the American side of the family.
