Meghan McCain Shares 1st Photos of Baby Clover With Husband Ben Domenech: ‘We Are All Blissed Out Happy’

Welcome to the world! Meghan McCain shared the first photos of her and husband Ben Domenech's newborn baby girl days after giving birth. "We are overjoyed to welcome our new daughter Clover Jade McCain Domenech on Thursday morning," the former host of The View, 37, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, January 21. "Thank you all for the well wishes - we are all blissed out happy, healthy and exhausted! ♥️🍀." She concluded with the famous quote: “Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.” Her pals flooded the comments with their best wishes. "So happy for your sweet family ❤️🍀❤️," Emily Maynard wrote. "Congratulations Meghan 💕 She’s beautiful," Eboni K. Williams added. "She is beautiful! Congrats!" Cameran Eubanks chimed in. McCain first shared the news of baby no. 2's arrival on Friday, January 20. “Yesterday morning, we welcomed our newest addition, Clover Jade McCain Domenech, to our family!” the political commentator told the Daily Mail. “Ben and I are overjoyed to introduce Liberty to her baby sister and start this new adventure as a family.” Domenech, 41, added: “Meghan’s strength and love for our daughters is boundless. I feel so blessed that her and Clover are both doing well and I cannot wait for our entire family to meet our baby girl.” The first photos of Clover showed her meeting her 2-year-old big sister Liberty Sage for the first time. The Arizona native and the writer first became parents in September 2020, welcoming Liberty one year after Meghan had suffered a miscarriage. “Ben and I are the luckiest, most incredibly blessed people in the world surrounded by love and support,” she wrote of her pregnancy loss via Instagram in July 2019. “My hope is by continuing to share grief and loss, and addressing these taboo subjects head on it will help people who have experienced the same to feel less alone.” Meghan, who is the daughter of Cindy McCain and the late John McCain, added at the time: “I was petrified to share my story publicly but I never, ever let fear dictate my life choices. I will always take the leap, I will always roll the dice.” The Daytime Emmy Award winner beamed in pictures from the hospital with her two little girls on Saturday. Clover and Liberty posed with dad and mom, who was in purple pajamas, for their first photos as a family of four. Clover met her grandmother as well. One snap showed Cindy, 68, holding the newborn.
