Meghan McCain makes it pretty clear she's voting for Joe Biden

Meghan McCain was on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Wednesday night. The daughter of former Republican presidential nominee John McCain may have GOP in her DNA, but for the upcoming presidential election she probably won’t be voting for her party. When asked about the upcoming election between Democratic nominee Joe Biden and Republican nominee Donald Trump, McCain refused to say who she is voting for. However, she did say, “I keep telling everyone I will promise you will know who I'm voting for but it won't take a rocket scientist to know.” Joe Biden was a long-time friend to the McCain family and even spoke at John McCain’s funeral. Whereas Donald Trump did not attend the funeral and has repeatedly attacked the deceased war hero. “There is one who has made pain in my life a living hell and another man who has literally shepherded me through the grief process,” said Meghan McCain, reiterating, “This really shouldn't be rocket science.” Meghan McCain called out the entire Trump family, saying, “The Trumps, they're always making my mom cry.” And even though she didn’t officially say she was Joe Biden, it’s pretty obvious.

ANDY COHEN: Now that Biden is the presumptive nominee, will you be voting for him in the next election?

MEGHAN MCCAIN: So I just had a really long conversation with him a few days ago, like on Saturday, and I have-- I love him dearly.

KYLIE MAR: Meghan McCain was on "Watch What Happens Live" Wednesday. And even though she's the daughter of former Republican presidential nominee John McCain, when it comes to choosing between family friend Joe Biden and incumbent President Donald Trump, she may not vote straight party.

MEGHAN MCCAIN: Well, I keep telling everyone, I will promise you, you will know who I'm voting for, but it really shouldn't take a rocket scientist to know there's one man who has made pain and my life a living hell and another man who has, like, literally shepherded me through the grief process. This really shouldn't be rocket science.

KYLIE MAR: Considering that after the heartbreaking loss of Meghan's father, Biden spoke at his funeral and consoled her while Trump repeatedly attacked her father and his legacy, Meghan's vote seems pretty obvious.

MEGHAN MCCAIN: The Trumps, like, are always putting my-- they're always making my mom cry. And I just think politics is personal too. And I think character is really important. Someone who can tamp down fear and anger instead of making it worse.
