Meghan McCain has a message for celebrities who wanted to cancel the Fourth of July. The 37-year-old television personality wrote an opinion piece for the Daily Mail, slamming Jessica Chastain, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, and several other celebs who wanted to cancel Independence Day in the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. In her lengthy piece, Meghan wrote that their social media posts were "elitist garbage" and shared that even though the country is divided, there are still some things to be celebrated. "The Fourth of July is an opportunity to put our politics aside for a moment and appreciate the privilege of being American," she wrote in part. She went on to say that just because she is not happy with "many things" going on in the country doesn't mean she is going to cancel the holiday.
