Meghan Markle's 'Suits' Costars Admit They Haven't Heard From Her in a While

Suits is having a major moment, and the original cast is reaping the benefits after the former USA Network series became a sensation on Netflix and Peacock last summer. Well, everyone that is except for Meghan Markle. The royal family member has long since quit the acting business and it sounds like she and the cast have drifted apart — and they miss her.
Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about their experience being in T-Mobile’s Super Bowl commercial, so it was inevitable that the Duchess of Sussex’s name would come up in conversation. Despite all of the success of Suits in the last six months, no one from the cast has heard from her. “I have not communicated with her other than seeing her big support for the resurgence, and that has been really nice,” Macht revealed.

Adams added, “No, no communication.” Instead of ending the topic on a down note, though, he pretended to get a phone call from Meghan. “Oh, hold on. There she is. Oh, got to go,” he joked. Fans already know that Meghan didn’t show up to the Golden Globes cast reunion in January, despite being invited. “We asked the duchess, but we were told that, unfortunately, she had a previous commitment,” shared a Page Six source.
Gina Torres was thrilled to see almost all of the cast together at big Hollywood event, and she told Variety that they celebrated in a group text when they heard the news. But Meghan was not induced because Torres said, “We don’t have her number. We just don’t. So she’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”
Meghan has expressed her support for Suits as late as November when she explained at the Variety Power of Women event, “It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time. It’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.” And the Suits cast’s friendship is everlasting — and it sounds like her costars would love to reconnect with her again. Meghan just needs to share her new digits.
