Meghan Markle's Son Might Go to Preschool With Adele's Kid — Imagine the Playdates!

We all get by with a little help from our friends, right? For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the pal helping them get through their transition to life in L.A. is none other than Adele. When the Sussexes made the jump from Canada to California, they landed near the singer’s Beverly Hills home. And, well, it reportedly didn’t take long for the fellow Brits (and parents) to bond — so much so, in fact, that they may all be able to coordinate school carpool with baby Archie and Adele’s four-year-old son Angelo soon.
As first reported by the Daily Mirror, Adele often pops by her new neighbors’ home to say hi and offer up advice about living in the L.A. area. “Adele’s just five minutes from Harry and Meghan and they’ve swapped notes on the area,” a source told the Mirror. “Adele loves the neighborhood. She’s also recommended her four-year-old son Angelo’s preschool and discreet places to take Archie where they won’t be bombarded by fans.”

Harry and Meghan have reportedly been renting an eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom villa in the area from another famous friend, Tyler Perry. “Meghan and Harry want to see how they get on in the area first before they commit to buying somewhere,” the Mirror’s source said. And from the sound of it, Adele is working hard to convince the Sussexes to stay put.
Although the Sussexes and Adele have taken their bonding to a new level now that they’re neighbors, they originally hit it off in 2018 when they both visited a community kitchen for Grenfell Tower victims. Said the source, “All three of them get on so well. Meghan admires how Adele has managed to keep out of the spotlight despite being a huge star. And she is a big fan of her album 21, which she says helped her through her divorce from Trevor Engelson.”
It remains to be seen if Harry and Meghan will, in fact, choose to send baby Archie to the same preschool as Adele’s son. But it sounds like they’ve found a solid L.A. friend regardless.
