Meghan Markle's baby shower: Amal Clooney wears a red jumpsuit for the Duchess of Sussex's NYC party

Pastels? For a baby shower? Not in NYC, babe.

More photos have emerged of Meghan Markle's friends as they hit Manhattan's luxe Mark Hotel on Wednesday, each more stylish than the next.

Amal Clooney made a fabulous-as-ever entrance and exit in a crimson Sergio Hudson jumpsuit, which she wisely covered with a heavy black coat. (No one, even Clooneys or the British royal family, can stop the snow in New York.) As she breezed past the paparazzi in pointed gold heels, a man following behind toted two brightly-colored gift bags.

The sexy yet conservative look marks yet another style win for Clooney, a renowned human rights lawyer. (If you're suddenly hearing your closet scream for a red jumpsuit, you can shop similar ones here.)

Also opting for jewel tones was Gayle King, who paired her purple coat with a bare leg (!!), lavender pumps and a patterned clutch.

Stylist Jessica Mulroney, one of Markle's closest friends, stayed a bit warmer in a turtleneck sweater, while fellow pal Misha NoNoo donned a long houndstooth coat.

We haven't yet seen Serena Williams, who is reportedly footing the $75,000 bill to hold the shower in The Mark's penthouse suite. The Daily Mail broke down the trip by each expenditure, estimating that the entire NYC excursion cost $278,521.

Markle's arrival in Manhattan late last week came as a total surprise to the public, but insiders say she's in fact been planning the trip for months.

Prior to her shower, the Duchess was spotted out and about in the city, enjoying meals at Lauderee and the Polo Bar (while wearing these cute sunglasses).
