Meghan Markle is launching her new brand, American Riviera Orchard, later this spring, but she gave a few close friends a small taste of what is coming soon. The limited-edition product is a tasty treat that her pals shared on social media to tease the line — and we think the Duchess of Sussex already has a huge hit on her hands.

The first homemade product is a strawberry jam that is so exclusive that the batch was limited to 50 jars. Los Angeles fashion designer Tracy Robbins was one of the lucky besties, who received the gift basket of the jam surrounded by yellow lemons with their stems and leaves artfully embracing the jar. “Breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a little sweeter,” she wrote in her Instagram Story. On a second slide, she added, “I absolutely love this jam so I’m not sure I’m sharing it with anyone. Thank you M.” Robbins, who is married to the president and CEO of Paramount Pictures, Brian Robbins, was spotted with Meghan and Prince Harry at the Bob Marley: One Love premiere in Jamaica in January.

Meghan’s pal, Delfina Balquier, wife of Nacho Figueras, also chimed in with her thoughts about the jam, which she slathered on a piece of toast in her Instagram Story. “Strawberry jam makes me happy. And I love your jam,” she wrote. Her jar was even more elite because it was the 10th jar produced out of the 50 in circulation. That begs the question: Who got the first jar from American Riviera Orchard? If we had to guess, it has to be Oprah Winfrey, right? If the media mogul does a post about strawberry jam to help boost Meghan’s brand, she needs the No. 1 jar.

The Duchess of Sussex’s upcoming Netflix show, which starts production on April 16, will be filmed in Montecito, but not at her $14 million estate, according to the Daily Mail. “Netflix has rented a house in Montecito for filming,” a source shared with the outlet. The series is expected to “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship” — and hopefully strawberry jam — when it is released. So far, Meghan has only teased what is ahead with American Riviera Orchard with a return to Instagram on March 14, but she has over 594,000 fans joining her for the ride.

It’s a big pivot for the former Suits star, but it brings her right back home to where she started with The Tig, her former lifestyle blog. Given the fact that her Heidi Merrick halter dress sold out in a mere four hours after her Miami polo appearance, her strawberry jam is likely to share the same fate.
