Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

On Friday, Meghan Markle stepped out in a breezy, silk outfit while supporting her husband's polo match in Florida.

The Duchess of Sussex stuck to her monochromatic dress code in a halterneck dress from California brand Heidi Merrick. (The brand put the style, called the Ginger, on pre-order after the sighting.) She matched her accessories to its ivory color, carrying a white Valentino bag and walking in nude Aquazzura pumps.

Markle wore a little more jewelry than she has in recent appearances. She donned Cartier's Tank watch, vintage Chanel earrings and a short stack of dazzling bangles, per @WhatMegWore.

Prince Harry played in the Royal Salute Polo Challenge to benefit Sentebale, the organization he founded to support the mental health of young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana. After winning his match, Markle presented him the trophy with a kiss.
