Meghan Markle is continuing to slay her fashion-forward Nigerian tour, this time taking a sartorial detour from her royal style. Fresh off debuting an apricot Heidi Merrick maxi dress and a crisp white power suit by Altuzarra, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in a dress that couldn’t look more different from the ‘fits she wore as a working royal. On Saturday, May 11, the Suits alum marked her and Prince Harry’s appearance at a charity event tied to the Invictus Games Foundation in a zebra print dress with a bold cut-out on her stomach.

Markle’s dress – a silk, midi-length number by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz – featured black and white stripes and a sky-high thigh slit in the front. The structured bodice had a sweetheart-style neckline and a diamond-shaped hole right below the bralet-style top, while the rope straps added additional texture and dimension to the look. The American Riviera Orchard entrepreneur accessorized with a casual sleek middle-parted low ponytail, assorted gold bangles, and large circle statement earrings. She finished off her look for her second day in Nigeria with oversized round black sunglasses and comfortable strappy flat black sandals.

Prince Harry and Markle’s appearance at the sports recovery-focused event for Nigeria: Unconquered in collaboration with the Invictus Games Foundation included watching training sessions and a basketball game, as well as playing in a volleyball match. The couple was all smiles as the Duke of Sussex was invited to take part in the game just a few minutes in, and a beaming Markle clapped when her husband scored his first point, according to People.

A 9-year-old student named Tiwa Akanbi later told People that the Duchess snuck a compliment to Prince Harry into their conversation when they met during the event. “She said Prince Harry loves to play volleyball and that he’s very good at it,” Akanbi told the publication.
