Meghan Markle Has Been Wearing This Comfy Slippers Brand for Years — and It’s on Sale at Nordstrom
Whether you’re a fan of Meghan Markle’s style or a shoe lover (or both), you’ve likely heard of Birdies; it’s the footwear brand behind those fashionable flats that offer the same comfort as slippers. The department store just majorly knocked down prices on tons of Birdies flats, including a pair that look very similar to Meghan’s favorite Blackbird flat, a style she’s been wearing for years. She would often post photos wearing her beloved Birdies on her since-deleted Instagram, even wearing them around Toronto when she first started dating Prince Harry. She loves them so much, she continued wearing them during her time as a senior working royal.
Meghan was last spotted wearing Birdies during her Moroccan tour with Prince Harry in February 2019, just a few months before they became first-time parents. She also wore the same black velvet flats while taking a stroll through the Redwoods Treewalk Rotorua during their first royal tour as a couple in October 2018.
