Just when you think Meghan Markle is done with the U.K. for good, she makes a roaring comeback. This time, though, it’s not with the royal family — it’s with her former job at Suits. It seems that fans can’t get enough of the former USA Network show, so the BBC has decided to give the nine-season show a whirl on their channel.

The Hollywood Reporter shared that Suits, along with two other titles from NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution, were making the jump across the pond. Suits will be joined by St. Denis Medical and The Best Man: The Final Chapters. Even though Suits is available to U.K. Netflix subscribers, the BBC addition will make it more available to a wider audience. And it’s the perfect way for the Duchess of Sussex to be seen outside of the royal family, which is currently dealing with their own scandals lately.

Meghan played Rachel Zane in the legal drama about a man who uses his photographic memory to con his way into an associate job at a top law firm. The ensemble cast featured Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, and Abigail Spencer along with the Duchess of Sussex, who left the show in 2017 after getting engaged to Prince Harry. She exited the series of her own volition even though Queen Elizabeth II was open to Meghan continuing her acting career.

“She did everything she could to make her future granddaughter-in-law feel welcome. She was concerned for her future happiness. At their first meeting, the Queen said to Meghan: ‘You can carry on being an actress if you like – that’s your profession, after all,’” Gyles Brandreth wrote in her 2023 book, Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait. Meghan declined and told the Queen that she “was ready for royal duty” — a move that “delighted” the monarch.

“She was particularly delighted by the enthusiasm Meghan showed for the Commonwealth and the commitment she made to the Queen to do ‘whatever you think we should be doing for the Commonwealth,’” Brandreth wrote. “She promised the Queen that when it came to the Commonwealth, she wouldn’t let Her Majesty down. The Queen liked Meghan and told lots of people so.” We all know that things turned out differently than Meghan and Prince Harry planned, but it’s somehow fitting that the Duchess of Sussex’s former career makes a soft landing in the U.K.
