Meghan Markle has revealed who's truly the sporty one between her and Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex made the playful revelation on the final day of her tour in Nigeria with her husband while speaking at a Giants of Africa basketball exhibition in Lagos. Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, visited Ilupeju Senior Grammar School to help unveil a partnership between their Archewell Foundation and the Giants of Africa charity, which uses sport (particularly basketball) to empower and engage young people.

"We are thrilled to be here, I will say, on a personal note, I lived in Toronto for seven years, went to quite a few Raptors games, and it was the first time I ever heard of Giants of Africa," Meghan began at the event, which PEOPLE attended. The Duchess of Sussex referred to her former hometown while starring on Suits and the organization established by Giants of Africa founder,  NBA champion and Toronto Raptors Vice-Chairman and President Masai Ujiri.

The Duke of Sussex is known for his love of polo and often hops right into the action at sporty events, from trying new winter sports at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025's One Year to Go celebrations in February and joining a sitting volleyball match while spending time with the Invictus-Games affiliated charity Nigeria: Unconquered during their tour on May 11.

Meghan has previously mentioned she hopes that Harry will pass down another one of his longtime sports to their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

"Meghan said that she really wanted her children to learn to ski and that maybe Whistler was the ideal place. She said she didn’t ski, so we told her they must come and learn," Bridget Bridge, the wife of an Invictus Games 2025 board member, told The Mirror in September 2023.

The Duke of Sussex has been on the slopes since childhood, as Princess Diana and King Charles took their sons Prince William and Prince Harry skiing starting at a young age.

Despite her lighthearted comments about her own athleticism, Meghan is also known for her love of yoga, perhaps inheriting her passion for the practice from her mother, Doria Ragland, who is a yoga instructor.

While it remains to be seen when Prince Archie and Princess Lili might their Invictus Games debut, Harry told PEOPLE in 2022 that "We can't wait!" to bring the kids along.

Shortly after their arrival at the Giants of Africa exhibition match, Meghan received her first public Mother’s Day wishes from the charity’s president Ujiri. The former NBA star warmly addressed Meghan and mentioned his own wife, saying, "I want to wish you a happy, happy Mother’s Day."

Harry and Meghan are in Nigeria at the invitation of the Chief of Defense Staff, the country's highest-ranking military official. The couple arrived in Africa on May 10 for the official three-day stay, which is significant as their first international tour since stepping back from their royal roles in 2020.

The couple's itinerary highlighted the Invictus Games, which Prince Harry founded in 2014 as a vehicle for healing for wounded, injured and sick service personnel through adaptive sport, and follows Nigeria's event debut at the latest iteration of the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany in September 2023.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's visit to Nigeria concludes later in the day on May 12 with a final reception at the State Governor House in Lagos and polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.
