Meghan Markle made quite the mark during her first ever official royal engagement on Friday.

Alongside new fiancé Prince Harry, the "Suits" actress was all smiles as she greeted hoards of fans in the English city of Nottingham before visiting with charities for World AIDS Day and stopping by a school to hear about Full Effect, an organization aimed at stopping youth violence.

As she greeted her adoring fans, Markle made a few off-the-cuff remarks that are making the rounds on Twitter. They seem to indicate that she's more than ready to take on the duties of a royal.

When a couple asked her for a selfie, for example, Markle revealed that she's "not allowed to do selfies," and politely declined. As royals expert Victoria Murphy pointed out, the moment shows that "Meghan is learning the royal ropes already."

In another moment, Markle remarked to a female fan about her gratefulness as the warm welcome she's been receiving in the UK.

"I can't believe it," she reportedly said. "I've been made so welcome and I can't believe it."

When two people confessed to Markle that they were fans of her USA Network drama, "Suits," she was positively gleeful.

"Oh, my God! Amazing!" she said with a smile. "You're so sweet. They still have a couple more seasons."

In perhaps her most viral moment of the day, Markle turned around to pick up a glove for a woman that accidentally dropped it over the barricade diving Meghan and Harry from the crowds.

Meghan and Harry's outing came just four days after the pair announced their recent engagement to the world on Monday.
