Meghan Markle’s Reported Future With the 'Suits' Reboot May Show If She’ll Return to Acting Soon

Ever since Meghan Markle left the British royal family alongside Prince Harry in 2020, people were convinced Meghan would immediately return to acting. But four years later, nothing. She’s working in philanthropy, directing, and producing; but not acting. And after news of the Suits reboot happening soon, many thought she’d be a part of it. After musings of her potentially working behind the scenes, insiders have shut down all of it.

A few weeks ago, sources close to the production claimed that Meghan was reportedly trying to angle for a behind-the-scenes position, like directing an episode or getting an executive producer credit via her company Archewell. But it seems both the producing and acting career paths for the Suits reboot has been dashed.

Sources told MailOnline that “Meghan was clear that she didn’t want to be involved as an actor. But Archewell was trying to wiggle its way in as a production company on the spin-off.”

However, the insiders alleged that NBCUniversal “have killed that idea,” and that insiders linked to Archewell have “deny this vigorously however, and say that the company would never have been involved in a reboot”.

Summed up, these allegations claim that Meghan didn’t ever want an acting part in the reboot (which is backed up by the no upcoming acting projects shown on her IMDb page). Along with that, they alleged that she tried to get an executive producer role, but was denied, and then insiders from her nonprofit claimed they weren’t true to begin with. So it seems Meghan really won’t be a part of the Suits reboot.

And after four years, it may be safe to say that Meghan isn’t feeling a return to acting. But we can’t wait to see what she does next!
