Arthur stated "Harry's sad, the Queen's sad, Prince of Wales is sad, I'm sad, but they're still going ahead with it. The only person that doesn't seem to be sad and seems to be having a good time is Meghan, and I think she has driven this.”

He went on to say "I think he [Harry] is sad, I don't think he really wants to go. I mean, what's he going to do there? He's not a showbiz person, he's not a media star like that."

Harry, Duke of Sussex, decided to address the Royal resignation with a speech last night at the AIDS & HIV Charity Sentebal dinner. In the speech, he starts off by stating:

"Before I begin, I must say that I can only imagine what you may have heard or perhaps read over the last few weeks. So, I want you to hear the truth from me, as much as I can share. Not as a Prince, or a Duke, but as Harry, the same person that many of you have watched grow up over the last 35 years, but with a clearer perspective."

Harry also made it very clear that he was apart of the decision making in this situation and he was concerned about his wife in the same way he was about his mother, Princess Diana.

"The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back, is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges. And I know I haven't always gotten it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option."

The four-minute speech explained that him and Markle shared the same values, that they were a hopeful couple when starting this journey. But with outsiders making it difficult to just be themselves they had no choice.

Harry eluded in his speech to how reminiscent this situation is to his mothers, making it very clear to people of the British media, like Edwards that they are the prime reason for this sadness, not Markle, who has already begin residing in Canada with baby Archie.
