Meghan Markle's Ex-Husband, Trevor Engelson, Gets Engaged After Royal Wedding

He shared the news in a private Instagram post.

Meghan Markle’s ex-husband is now engaged.

Trevor Engelson, 41, has proposed to his girlfriend, Tracey Kurland, weeks after ex-wife Meghan Markle's marriage to Prince Harry on May 19.

Engelson, who has been dating Kurland for three years, announced the news on Instagram Friday, US Weekly reported.

The film producer captioned a photo of him smiling next to Kurland, a dietician, saying, “Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party!”

Engelson married Markle in Jamaica in 2011 after seven years of dating. They quietly filed for divorce two years later, citing irreconcilable differences.

Engelson and Markle lived in Los Angeles together during the beginning of their marriage, but Markle soon made the move to Toronto to shoot the USA series "Suits," Fox News reported.

"The split with Meghan hit Trevor pretty hard. He went through a rough time during the breakup and that was only made worse when Meghan got together with Harry last year," a source told The Sun. "It wasn’t the most amicable of divorces and there were hurt feelings on both sides. Now he has bounced back and things are looking great for him."

The couple has barely spoken since their divorce, but Markle allegedly reached out to Engelson to thank him for not telling their story after her engagement to Prince Harry, the paper reported.
