Megan Thee Stallion is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a new profile with The Cut, the rapper confirmed she will appear in the Tatiana Maslany-starring Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as part of her Hollywood ambitions.

In late March, rumors of Megan Thee Stallion making a cameo in She-Hulk as a fictionalized version of herself surfaced after stunt performer Marché Day added the series to her resume. At the time, there was speculation that Megan’s appearance would span across several episodes.

While speaking to The Cut, Megan didn’t share any details about her role in She-Hulk, but instead spoke about how forebears like Queen Latifah and Ice Cube have paved the way for her. “When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music,” she said. “I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”

The artist added that she would also love to star in a hypothetical reboot of the cult classic 2000 cheerleading film Bring It On in which she would step into Gabrielle Union’s role of Isis.

The Houston native has already been making inroads in Hollywood. After inking an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix in December 2021 to create and executive produce new series and other projects, Megan guested as her alter ego Tina Snow in Season 2 of the Starz TV series P-Valley.

Megan is also set to make her feature film debut in the A24 musical comedy Fucking Identical Twins, which is described as a “subversive spin” on The Parent Trap. She’ll appear alongside Nathan Lane, Bowen Yang, and Megan Mullally.

Though Hollywood is calling, Megan has hardly stepped away from music. She recently released her sophomore album, Traumazine, which features the singles “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa, “Plan B,” “Pressurelicious” featuring Future, and “Her.”
