Megan Thee Stallion inked a new contract with Warner Music Group. On Friday (Feb. 2), Meg took to Instagram to celebrate her new distribution deal with WMG. She posted several photos of herself with an assortment of balloons and some of the WMG staff.

The “Hiss” artist also detailed her music journey, some of the deal’s details, and her ambitions. “Thank you GOD, Hotties today HISSTORY was made !!! Today I signed a distribution deal with my new family @warnermusic where I maintain my INDEPENDENCE as an artist anddd OWN MY MASTERS AND PUBLISHING,” she typed. “This is thee first deal of its kind !!! I hope artists still on the come up or even artists who are already established never get discouraged by all the obstacles that come with this industry!”

She continued, “Even with all the odds against me I fought for MYSELF, the hotties fought for me and @rocnation fought for me!!! I’m forever grateful!!! Let’s REALLY KEEP RUNNING IT UP HOTTIES! Shout out to MAMA HOLLY I know she’s guiding me through all this. #HOTGIRLPRODUCTIONS

With the contractual agreement, Meg will release music through her own Hot Girl Productions entity. Warner Music Group will handle services like radio promotion and global marketing. Two products have already been released via Hot Girl Productions: her comeback single, “Cobra,” and her relentless diss track, “Hiss.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” dropped in late January. The Houston Hottie took shots at Nicki Minaj, her brother, and husband on the scathing track. She also dissed men in Hip-Hop who used her past trauma as punchlines in their songs.

“These h*es don’t be mad at Megan, these h*es mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start/ Bi**h, you a pu**y, never finna check me/ Every chance you get, bet your weak a** won’t address me/ Bi**hes swear they G, but the G must stand for goofy/ When the f**k did all the gangster ni**as turn to groupies?/ Everybody wanna kick it when you ain’t a threat/ These ni**as don’t like me, ’cause they know I’m on they neck,” she rapped.
