Earlier today (Jan. 30), Megan Thee Stallion appeared on “Good Morning America” to deliver some good news to her fans. “We’re having the tour this year. The ‘Hot Girl Summer Tour’ is gonna be [in] 2024, summer time,” she revealed in a taped segment. “I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside, doing my own thing during the summer, like, since 2019.”

That wasn’t all that Megan confirmed. “This is gonna be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer,” she added. “I do wanna give the Hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.” While the Houston talent did not reveal an album title or a tour schedule, that information will likely be made to the public in the coming months.

The big announcement arrived days after the release of Megan’s latest single, “HISS,” which contained ferocious lines aimed at other Hip Hop peers. “It’s for these b**ches and h**s alike, men or women. Every time one of these motherf**kers uses Megan Thee Stallion’s name, they get 24 hours of attention,” she said about the song to “The Breakfast Club.” “Use something else. Do something different. Use another tactic. This one getting old… A hit dog gon’ holler. That’s it. Whoever feel it, feel it.”

Back in 2022, Megan dropped her sophomore LP, Traumazine, an 18-song effort with assists from Key Glock, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Jhené Aiko, Lucky Daye, Future, and more. The project both peaked within the top five of the Billboard 200 and earned a platinum certification. In that same year, Megan supported Dua Lipa on the “Future Nostalgia Tour,” which was originally set to take place in 2020 before being delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Dates for that tour included cities in North America, Europe, and Australia.
