Megan Thee Stallion is back with a scary promo video just in time for Halloween.

On Monday (Oct. 23), the Houston Hot Girl shared a clip on Instagram teasing a new video of some sort, where she hints at “shedding” her past.

In the blacked-out video that only shows her mouth, Meg says, “Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past, over and over again.” The Douglas Bernardt-directed project then shows the 28-year-old with snake eyes and fangs.

See below.

The post was captioned “ACT ONE ?,” which is what her Instagram posts from Oct. 12 also read.

Meg’s fans immediately began speculating that she may have new music on the way, although it could just be the next installment of Halloween videos, following her Hottieween series from 2019.

“BRING THE HORROR ROCK GIRLIES OUTT?????️,” one person wrote, as another said, “This is sooooo Rocky Horror-coded.” Even Three 6 Mafia’s, Juicy J, showed his anticipation with the comment, “Verse killer !!!?”

Three years ago, the Traumazine rapstress went on a horror rampage when she released three episodes of her Hottieween series, where she played a private investigator who gets seduced by a vampire named Archimedes (played by Dave East). In the visualizer, Meg was turned into an immortal with super-human powers. However, instead of using her new powers for evil, she takes down the leader of the blood-suckers.

The “Bongos” collaborator‘s forthcoming project comes on the heels of settling her ongoing lawsuit with former record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment.

The record label announced on Oct. 19 that with Meg, they were able to “mutually reach a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences.”

“I’m pleased to announce that Megan and I have come to the table to resolve our legal differences,” 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford stated to PEOPLE. “During the course of this time, we have grown, we have evolved, and amicably decided to part ways. I’m very satisfied with the outcome and confident in the future of 1501.”

In 2020, the rapper was granted a temporary restraining order against the label and its CEO after alleging that the company prevented her from releasing new music. The “Savage” rhymer then revealed that she was not searching for a new music home anytime soon, and would be financing her next project herself.

As Meg has yet to announce when her next full-length project will drop, take a look at her spooky teaser above.
