Megan Fox Talks About Her New Blond Look for ‘TMNT 2′

Actresses change their looks all the time, but when it’s a certifiable star, people tend to take notice. Megan Fox sat down with Yahoo Movies and discussed her unique look for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. For a portion of the film she is seen rocking blond hair and glasses. From what we understand, this is not a regular occurrence by any means. “No, I’ve never been blond,” said Fox. “I’ve always tried to go blond. My hair turns orange, I look terrible. I always wanted to be, you know, like I don’t know who I thought I was — as a child I thought I was some 1950s film star.”

So basically we shouldn’t be expecting Fox to star in a Marilyn Monroe biopic anytime soon. Although in regards to being self-aware of your style, knowing is half the battle. “It was a wig, thank God,” explained Fox. “It doesn’t work on me. I did like the wig, [but] I’m not a wig person.” There are other benefits to changing up your look, like avoiding the pesky paparazzi. But in this case Fox doesn’t think it’s the best strategy. “When you’re wearing a wig it looks like you’re wearing a wig,” she said. “And people are like, ‘Hey, who’s wearing a wig?’ It draws more than just putting on a baseball cap.”
