Megan Fox couldn’t be more excited to meet her new baby, but that doesn’t mean she’s in any rush to get her third pregnancy over with.

“I feel great. I love being pregnant,” the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows star said on Extra Thursday.

Though she conceded that “a lot of women don’t feel that way” and that being pregnant is both “really uncomfortable” and “painful at parts,” Fox said that, “I feel the overall process is an amazing one.”

She added, “I feel so productive creating a human person that I’m so excited to meet because I know that I have such a spiritual connection to them, so I can’t wait to meet this new member of my family.”

The new baby will be Fox’s third child with her husband Brian Austin Green. They currently have two sons together, Noah, 3½, and Bodhi, 2. Fox filed for divorce from the actor in August after five years of marriage, but the couple has continued to live together and recently took a family vacation to Hawaii.

Asked if she’s made any Father’s Day plans for Green, Fox said, “I don’t think we’re gonna celebrate … He never gets to eat anything fun because my house is so clean and I make him eat really clean, too, so maybe I’ll get him a German chocolate cake or something. He’ll be so happy to see junk food.”

As for how her sons are reacting to the news that they have a baby sibling on the way, Fox said that Bodhi understands she is pregnant, but doesn’t care too much about it yet. Noah, on the other hand, is looking forward to the baby’s arrival. “The older one is very excited,” she said.

While her new film is based on the popular Teenage Ninja Turtles kid’s cartoon show, Fox said she’s not letting her sons watch her movies until they fully grasp that movies aren’t reality. “I don’t let them really watch anything besides a couple of Pixar movies and a couple of Disney movies,” she explained.

“I don’t want them to see me as a woman play a character that’s degrading or being abused in a graphic way; I don’t think that’s something they’ll be able to process well … They’re very sensitive,” she added.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theaters June 3.
