"A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, 'You kind of look like Megan Fox.' So I believe she's telling the truth."

Megan Fox is speaking out after the internet weighed in on Love Is Blind season 6 contestant Chelsea Blackwell's claim that the Transformers star is her celebrity doppelgänger.

"I've never had more people text me about something," Fox told E! News, "because I don't really watch TV very much."

Despite not being familiar with the show or Blackwell, Fox found it hard to escape the kerfuffle.

"But I've had a lot of people text me and stop me," Fox continued. "Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, 'Do you watch Love is Blind?' And I was like, 'No, but I know what you're talking about.'"

"I didn't watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied," Fox said, adding, "I don't think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard."

Back in February, during one of her pod dates with future ex-fiancé Jimmy Pressnell, Chelsea asks him if he has any celebrity doppelgangers. She then goes on to tell him that she is often told on airplanes that she looks like "MGK's girlfriend," a.k.a. Fox.

"It's just because I have dark hair and blue eyes," she said in episode 2. "But I don't see it so don't get excited. That's the only reason, there's nothing else."

The internet then did what it does best and turned an innocuous statement into an invitation to be needlessly cruel, but Blackwell took it all in stride.

"This would be a great time for the people who have ever told me that I resembled her to come forward," she said jokingly in a TikTok. "Please, I'm begging you."

Fox, however, noted that the resemblance is, in fact, there. "I did see a picture of her," the actress said. "A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, 'You kind of look like Megan Fox.' So I believe she's telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn't steal it from her."

She added, "Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn't happen to her. Best wishes and blessings."

Blackwell name-dropped two other celebs that she's allegedly been told she looks like, as she revealed in an episode of the After Curfew podcast.

"They didn't show that I also say Adele and I also say Katy Perry," Chelsea said. . "I said I get one person all the time and then I say I also get Adele and Katy Perry. Put all those girls together, they look nothing alike. He just heard what he wanted to hear and ran with it."
