Megan Fox reacts to ‘Love Is Blind’ star Chelsea Blackwell’s comparison remarks: ‘A lot of people’ texted me

She’s no longer blind to the comments.

Megan Fox has officially responded to the comments that she and “Love Is Blind” star Chelsea Blackwell look alike.

“I’ve never had more people text me about something,” Fox, 37, told “E! News” on Saturday during an appearance at the 2024 Revolve Festival. “Because I don’t watch TV very much.”

“But I’ve had a lot of people text me and stop me,” the “Transformers” alum continued. “Even other celebrities at, like, Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch ‘Love Is Blind?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about.’ “

“I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied,” the “Jennifer’s Body” star said referring to the backlash that Blackwell, 31, received for making the comment. “I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard.”

Despite being the butt of several memes and internet jokes, Fox said that she could see a bit of herself in the reality star.

“I did see a picture of her,” the actress said. “A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox.’ So I believe she’s telling the truth, and I hope, like, she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her.”

The doppelgänger drama began in February during the sixth season of the Netflix reality show when Blackwell and her future ex-fiancé, Jimmy Presnell, 27, were in the “pods,” and Presnell asked her if she was ever compared to any celebrities.

Blackwell stated she was often confused for Machine Gun Kelly’s ex- fiancée.

“It’s just because I have dark hair and blue eyes,” she said in the episode. “But I don’t see it, so don’t get excited. That’s the only reason; there’s nothing else.”

After the two met in person, Presnell said, “She definitely lied to me on some of how she looked. Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox.”

“At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. I’m very attracted to her, I can work with that,” he quickly added.

Blackwell later retracted the statement and told “Entertainment Tonight” that she had reached out to Fox with an apology.

“I did reach out to her [Fox], and I was like, ‘I’m so sorry I did this to you,’ ” Blackwell said. “I’m just waiting for Megan to respond.”

Blackwell later told “Access Hollywood” that she was “getting dragged through the trenches” regarding the comment.

“What they didn’t show is, right before that, he was like, ‘Yeah, I look like [NFL star] Christian McCaffrey.’ And I have no idea who that is,” she said of Presnell. “So they only showed me telling him, ‘Yeah, I get this on the plane often. I get Katy Perry, Adele and Megan Fox.’ I’m just like, ‘I don’t see it, but it’s something I get.’ I did not expect him to react like that.”
