From model Olivia Culpo to viral fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, the wives and girlfriends of 49ers players have formed a close-knit bond

The San Francisco 49ers have a proud group of women cheering them on.

The team, including Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Fred Warner and Kyle Juszczyk, are a family on and off the field, but their wives, fiancées and girlfriends have also built close relationships. In an October 2023 interview with Today, Mindy Armstead, wife of defensive tackle Arik Armstead, shared insight into their unique bond.

“No one else can understand that pressure to be kind of this emotional powerhouse and support system for your significant other,” she said. “I think we really band together, and you end up making super-fast friends because of that. We’re all part of this team. We’re anxious and worried, and we’re thinking about, ‘Are things taken care of at home so that they can focus on the game?’ ”

In addition to attending games together, these women support each other’s business ventures. Kristin Juszczyk, fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s wife, made headlines in January 2024 for designing matching puffer coats for Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes. She has also made custom looks for her fellow 49ers family, including a bustier for Olivia Culpo, who is engaged to running back McCaffrey, and a puffer vest for wide receiver Deebo Samuels.

From their relationships to their own career paths, here’s everything to know about the 49ers players’ wives and girlfriends.

Olivia Culpo, Christian McCaffrey's fiancée

After four years of dating, Culpo and McCaffrey got engaged on April 2, 2023, while on vacation in Utah.

"I'm so excited," Culpo told PEOPLE later that month about her engagement. "It's been the thrill of a lifetime, honestly."

Culpo is often seen on the sidelines at McCaffrey’s games and was extremely supportive of her fiancé when he was traded from the Carolina Panthers to the 49ers in October 2022.

"This city stole my heart and I'll never forget the memories and people who made the last 3+ years so special. I'll miss you all so much and you'll always hold a special place in my heart 😭,” Culpo captioned a video montage on Instagram. “I'm so proud of you Christian! Seeing your light shine is one of my favorite things in life and I'm beyond excited and grateful for this next chapter in Cali, the place I've called home for the last 8 years ❤️ Niners Nation, let's go!"

Culpo was crowned Miss Universe in 2012 and has built a career as a model and social media influencer. She’s posed for Sports Illustrated and Vogue India, an editorial that was shot by McCaffrey in 2020. Culpo is also part-owner of two Rhode Island restaurants, Back40 and Union & Main.

Jenna Brandt, Brock Purdy's fiancée

Jenna Brandt and Brock Purdy, the quarterback for the 49ers, met while attending Iowa State University but didn’t make their relationship Instagram official until several years later, in November 2022. Purdy proposed on a dock in Saint Cloud, Florida, in July 2023.

"My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB," the quarterback captioned a series of engagement photos on Instagram.

Brandt is also an athlete – she played volleyball at Iowa State University for three seasons before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa in 2020. In 2022, she concluded her collegiate volleyball career.

“a dream come true to wear this jersey. i cannot thank UNI enough for this life changing experience,” Brandt wrote on Instagram. “volleyball: it’s the people that make the game. my teammates make it worthwhile, make me work hard, and make me laugh in any (serious or not) situation.”

Kristin Juszczyk, Kyle Juszczyk's wife

49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk married Kristin on July 6, 2019, in upstate New York. They had been engaged for two years and dated three years before they wed.

“WE'RE ENGAGED! Still feels like a dream but I couldn't possibly feel anymore love than I do right now!” Kristin wrote on Instagram in a post announcing their engagement. “It's a privilege to be able to love you forever @juicecheck44 ❤❤.”

When Kyle was traded from the Baltimore Ravens to the 49ers in 2017, Kristin decided to change career paths from real estate to fashion design. In 2018, she launched a clothing brand called Origin, but now makes custom outfits for NFL fans and fellow wives and girlfriends of athletes, including Taylor Lautner and Simone Biles.

In January 2024, Kristin scored a licensing deal with the NFL, allowing her to use the league’s logos on her clothing.

“She’s been grinding for years now and working so hard,” Kyle told reporter David Lombardi about his wife’s success. “I’m so happy to see her get her stuff out there, everybody sees it and recognizes it was hers.”

Claire Kittle, George Kittle's wife

49ers tight end George Kittle has been married to his wife Claire Kittle since April 2019. The pair first met as students at the University of Iowa and dated for six years before getting engaged in August 2018. They eloped in Iowa City and later hosted a larger wedding ceremony in April 2021.

"I had always looked up to those people who ran away and eloped or just walked right up to the courthouse and left married. Thought it was so cool," Claire wrote on her blog about the elopement. "We knew football was starting up again and Lord knows nothing but football gets done during football season. So we pulled the trigger and planned this wedding in a week!"

Claire has a bachelor’s degree in health and human physiology and is a certified personal trainer. She previously owned a personal training business called Claire Till Fitness and taught barre classes while she and George were living in Iowa City.

In January 2024, Claire and George celebrated the 49er's playoff win against the Green Bay Packers with matching game-day outfits. They wore custom Levi’s jeans and jackets adorned with their last name and personal drawings.

“Our outfits are a piece of art created by @levis @styledbyleightaylor @creativ_ty thank you for capturing us and what we love beautifully ❤️,” Claire wrote on Instagram. “Home for another week! Let’s gooooooo!!!"

Lauren Maenner, Nick Bosa's girlfriend

While 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa and Lauren Maenner keep their relationship relatively private, they’ve been dating since at least 2022. In October 2023, Nick’s mom, Cheryl Bosa, confirmed their romance by referring to Maenner as his girlfriend in an Instagram post.

Maenner has yet to post a photo with Nick on her Instagram but often shares shots of herself at 49ers games and with Amanda Kassdikian, the girlfriend of Nick’s older brother Joey Bosa.

In 2020, Maenner graduated from Temple University with a degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication. She is now an influencer marketing manager for the apparel brand Revice Denim and an account manager for the public relations firm Ascend Agency.

In addition to public relations, Maenner works as a model and has appeared in campaigns for brands like Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and SKIMS.

Mahogany Jones, Deebo Samuels' girlfriend

49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuels has been dating girlfriend Mahogany Jones since 2019, the same year he was drafted to the San Francisco team. Two years later, the pair welcomed their first child together, a son named Tyshun Raequan Samuel Jr., on Dec. 27, 2021.

“When I found out I was pregnant I was nervous. I was scared, but he was so excited,” Jones explained in an interview for Overtime SZN’s The Deebo Samuel Documentary in 2022. “He said ‘I want him to be my little Deebo. He needs to be just like me. I can’t wait to dress him. We gonna dress like twins.’ ”

Jones regularly attends Samuels’ games with their son in tow and often shares their family life on TikTok, chronicling game days and holiday gatherings.

In 2019, Jones earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She previously owned a clothing brand called Shades of Mahogany, which sold swimwear and loungewear.

Sydney Hightower, Fred Warner's wife

Fred Warner and Sydney Hightower first met in 2020 after the linebacker, who has been playing for the 49ers since 2018, saw her on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor and reached out via Instagram. The couple got engaged the following year and tied the knot in Vista, California, on June 25, 2022.

“I’ll never be able to express into words the magic of June 25th,” Hightower wrote on Instagram. “The love and support that filled those walls was inescapable. I am still in awe that I get to be this incredible mans wife and love him for the rest of our days.”

In September 2023, Hightower and Warner launched their podcast, The Warner House, to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at life in the NFL. A month later, the couple also announced they are expecting their first child together, a son, in March 2024.

“The past several months we have experienced the most precious moments of our lives,” Hightower said in her pregnancy announcement. “Every weekly milestone and new development has been indescribable…the best is yet to come!”

Mindy Armstead, Arik Armstead's wife

Arik Armstead, who has been a defensive tackle for the 49ers since 2015, married Mindy Armstead on June 20, 2020. The two were engaged for a year before tying the knot and have since welcomed two daughters together. Their older daughter, Amiri, was born on Feb. 5, 2021, and their younger daughter, Ayla, arrived a year later on June 7, 2022.

After the 49ers won the AFC Championship against the Detroit Lions in January 2024, Mindy congratulated her husband on Instagram by posting a montage of their family on the field.

“Watching @arikarmstead play in the Super Bowl vs the chiefs was cool as a fiancée but getting a rematch where my babies can cheer on their daddy with me… #iconic #superbowl #nfl #goniners,” she wrote in the caption.

Mindy is a psychiatrist who completed her residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo before specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of California at Davis, per Psychology Today. In 2019, she and Arik founded a non-profit organization called Armstead Academic Project that provides students in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area with academic support.

Paloma Adams, Trent Williams’ girlfriend

Trent Williams has been dating his girlfriend Paloma Adams since 2022. The social media influencer revealed her relationship with the 49ers offensive tackle on TikTok by posting a video of the pair with the hashtags “boyfriend reveal” and “NFL girlfriend.”

In an interview with Today in October 2023, Adams shared the weekly traditions she and Williams do before a game.

“I eat McDonalds every single time before a game day. That’s me and Trent’s superstition,” she said. Their order consists of a sausage and egg biscuit with a hashbrown, strawberry jam and iced tea.

Adams graduated from Spelman College in 2017 with a degree in communication and media studies, per her LinkedIn. She documents her time at 49ers games on TikTok, sharing videos of her celebrating on the field with Williams and watching games from a private suite with other 49er’s wives and girlfriends.

Jasmine LeJeune, Elijah Mitchell’s wife

49ers running back Elijah Mitchell married his high school sweetheart, Jasmine LeJeune, in March 2023. The couple tied the knot at The White Magnolia in Kentwood, Louisiana.

"We have both grown and matured into adults together from high school sweethearts to where we are now,” the couple told PEOPLE at the time. “We have gone through so much and have become the best versions of ourselves together. So to officially become one, which is how it has felt for so long, is beautiful."

LeJeune and Mitchell are parents to three sons: Emerson, Elliott and Eason. The two welcomed their first son, Emerson, on Feb. 23, 2018. They expanded their family with Elliott on Sept. 22, 2021, and a year later, welcomed their third son Eason on Dec. 1, 2022.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the rock of the house thank you for everything you sacrificed for us,” Mitchell wrote in a sweet post for Mother’s Day in May 2023. “I hope you have a special day I love you ❤️❤️❤️.”

LeJeune graduated from nursing school in December 2019, per her Instagram.

Rochelle Searight, Brandon Aiyuk's girlfriend

Brandon Aiyuk, a wide receiver for the 49ers, has been dating girlfriend Rochelle Searight since at least 2018. In September 2020, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Braylon.

Searight often attends 49ers games, cheering on Aiyuk from stands with their son, friends and family. When the 49ers clinched their spot in the 2024 Super Bowl, Searight was in the stadium to celebrate and later posted photos of the moment on Instagram.

"No words. Literally a scene out of a movie. All the hard work put in has brought you so far. I love you so much B, so blessed to experience this milestone with you," she wrote.

Searight is currently in cosmetology school and documents her hair and beauty skills on the Instagram account @chelleybeauty.

Mandy Shanahan, Kyle Shanahan's wife

Kyle Shanahan has been the head coach of the 49ers since 2017 and led the team to two Super Bowls with his wife, Mandy Shanahan, by his side. The two first met at Cherry Creek High School in Colorado and eventually tied the knot in 2005. They went on to welcome three children together: Stella, Carter and Lexi.

In a 2017 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Mandy opened up about her husband’s reputation as a coach.

“You hear that he's hard to reach, or he's arrogant,” she said. “Kyle's been one of the most sensitive people I've ever been around, in a good way. He's so in tune with people's emotions and how people feel. And that's what makes him such a gifted father and supporting husband."
