Taylor Swift has formed friendships with the wives and girlfriends of several Chiefs players amid her romance with Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift is the latest addition to the group of supportive wives and girlfriends cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The “Cruel Summer” singer has been joining her new pal Brittany Mahomes, quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, as well as other players’ partners like Lyndsay Bell and Chariah Gordon, at Chiefs games since she started dating tight end Travis Kelce in 2023. The girl group has gotten close, taking their friendship outside the walls of the stadiums for dinners and nights out. Swift even hosted a viewing party for some of the ladies at her New York City apartment to watch the team take on the Miami Dolphins in November.

The Grammy winner — who tops PEOPLE's 2023 Most Intriguing People of the Year list — has also gotten involved in team events, attending the annual holiday party at pop-up bar Miracle in Kansas City alongside the other Chiefs couples in December.

She continued attending games alongside Brittany into 2024, rooting for Kelce at the AFC Divisional playoff game with his brother Jason Kelce. The two even twinned in matching coats after a Chiefs victory in January.

Apart from Swift, the wives and girlfriends of the Chiefs are an impressive group of their own, launching businesses and raising families while being supportive of their partners' careers. The women also celebrated together after their partners beat the San Francisco 49ers at the 2024 Super Bowl.

From their relationships to their own passions, here’s everything to know about the Chiefs players’ girlfriends and wives.

Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife

Brittany and Patrick, the quarterback of the Chiefs, met and started dating while they were still in high school. They tied the knot in March 2022, a year after welcoming their first child, Sterling Skye, together. The couple then welcomed their second baby, son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, on Nov. 28, 2022.

Brittany and Swift became fast friends once the pop star started attending Chiefs games. The two have been seen dancing in the Mahomes’ suite together, and Swift even gifted her a limited edition 1989 cardigan.

A week after her first Chiefs game, Brittany was spotted having dinner with Swift’s famous friends, Sophie Turner and Blake Lively.

“They dined in a private room. Everyone had a blast,” a source told PEOPLE of their dinner at N.Y.C.’s Emilio’s Ballato. “They all got along and were just laughing all night over drinks and delicious food."

The following week, the two even debuted their own special handshake during an October game, which involved slapping the fronts and backs of their hands together five times, before grasping each other’s hands and bumping their hips together.

In January, Brittany and Swift took their friendship to the next level in twinning outfits. The fast friends wore custom jackets made by Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk. "Twinning & Winning💯," Brittany wrote in the caption of an Instagram carousel of her and Swift posing with Bell and hugging during a Chiefs game.

Days ahead of the Super Bowl, Brittany was announced as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's 2024 Rookie with photos in a red bikini, showing off her rib tattoo.

“I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen," she said. "I’m so thankful and honored and so excited to be here with this team."

Chariah Gordon, Mecole Hardman Jr.’s girlfriend

Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and his girlfriend Chariah Gordon have been together since at least September 2021, when she posted a photo of herself in a Chiefs jersey.

The couple made news when they welcomed their first baby together, a boy whom they call “3,” on the day the Chiefs were set to play in the Super Bowl in February 2023. Since Hardman was placed on injury reserve the previous week, he was able to be by Gordon’s side when she welcomed their son.

Gordon, an entrepreneur with her own clothing brand, has been supportive of Hardman’s career throughout their relationship, posting a photo of herself and their son dressed up in New York Jets jerseys when he got traded to the team in July. “new team, new vibes more blessings,” she wrote in the caption.

Hardman got traded back to the Chiefs in October, and just days later, Gordon was in attendance to support him at a home game — where they posed with Swift and Kelce after the win! Gordon posted photos seemingly taken at Arrowhead Stadium, including one solo shot of her and Swift and one snap of Swift sweetly planting a kiss on Kelce’s cheek.

Lyndsay Bell, Blake Bell’s wife

In addition to Brittany, Swift has also been spotted multiple times with Lyndsay Bell, who married her husband, tight end Blake Bell, in 2021 after dating for at least 10 years. The couple welcomed their first daughter together, Brinleigh, in September 2022.

“Happy Mothers Day to the one that does it all! Brinleigh and I Love you!!” Blake wrote in a sweet post on Lyndsay’s first Mother’s Day in 2023, on which Kelce commented, “Happy Mother’s Day!!!”

Lyndsay was in attendance for Swift's girls' night out in N.Y.C. in November, and sat alongside the singer and Brittany in a suite for the Chief's October game against the Denver Broncos.

In a December 2023 game, Lyndsay, Brittany and Swift took in another Chiefs game at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin. Lyndsay and Swift both donned vibrant red teddy coats for the occasion, which eagle-eyed fans on social media pointed out are nearly identical to a Stella McCartney coat Brittany has been seen wearing.

Isabelle Butker, Harrison Butker’s wife

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has been married to his wife, Isabelle Butker, since April 2018. The two had been engaged for a year and dating for seven years before they wed.

“After almost 7 years of being best friends with this girl, I finally popped the question,” Harrison wrote in the caption of a post announcing their engagement. “From the first moments of our relationship, back in freshman year of high school, I always envisioned marrying you and raising a family together.”

He continued, “You push me to be a better man and are so patient and forgiving when I fall short. I am truly amazed at how God has worked in your life and in our relationship and pray we continue to learn and grow from each other.”

Isabelle and Harrison welcomed their son one year after getting married, and the little boy was there when his dad took home the Super Bowl win with the Chiefs in February 2020. Though the couple shared some of their family life online in the early days of COVID-19 pandemic, they've largely kept their relationship and children out of the spotlight.

JoJo O’Conner, Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s fiancée

Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire took his relationship with JoJo O’Conner to the next level when he proposed to her in June 2023, not long after the couple purchased their first home together.

“Started off celebrating our new home. Ended a fiancé 🤍💍,” O’Conner wrote in the caption of her post announcing their engagement. “My love, forever & ever.”

O’Conner graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in May 2021 with a degree in biology and minors in chemistry and women’s studies, per her Instagram.

In February 2023, O’Conner was by Edwards-Helaire’s side when his team won the Super Bowl. She celebrated with fellow Chiefs wives and girlfriends on the field, including Erica Watson, who is married to wide receiver Justin Watson.

Sheawna Weathersby, Chris Jones’ girlfriend

While defensive tackle Chris Jones’ girlfriend, Sheawna Weathersby, has kept their relationship more private, it does appear the two have been together since 2015 and welcomed their second child together in October 2022. In March 2023, she posted a TikTok showing them during his first year in the NFL in 2016 compared to where they are now, two Super Bowl rings later.

Though she doesn’t ever post her children or photos with Jones on her Instagram, Weathersby has appeared in the stands for Chiefs games and she joined the celebration parade in February 2023 after their Super Bowl win.

She also documented her experience at the Super Bowl "as an NFL girlfriend" in a TikTok, showing clips of herself flying to the stadium with her and Jones' other two boys and embracing him post-win.

Erica Watson, Justin Watson’s wife

Erica Watson married Justin Watson on June 4, 2022, after proposing just three months earlier. The wide receiver, who has been playing for the Chiefs since 2022, and Erica welcomed their first baby together, a boy named Zion Lee Watson, on April 12, 2023.

Erica has since brought baby Zion to games with her where the two root for Justin in the stands. After an October 2023 game, Erica posted a picture of the two on the field and wrote in the caption, “I’m a big Jwat fan.”

Randi Chenal, Leo Chenal’s wife

Leo Chenal and his wife Randi first began dating when he was still playing for the University of Wisconsin. The linebacker proposed to Randi in December 2021 while they were seniors in college, and the two married in an intimate ceremony just two months later on Feb. 26, 2022.

“With our parents, siblings & grandparents I got to marry my best friend today❤️,” he wrote on Instagram. “We can’t wait to celebrate with the rest of our family and friends in July!”

After Leo signed with the Chiefs in May 2022, they welcomed their first daughter together on April 3, 2023.

Marissa Rand, Justin Reid’s girlfriend

Justin Reid, who has been a safety for the Chiefs since 2022, and his girlfriend have been together since at least September 2022. Rand often posts with Reid, whose games she frequently attends.

After his Super Bowl win in 2023, she wished him a happy birthday with a sweet post of the two kissing on the field.

“Happy birthday to my WORLD CHAMPION! I’m so proud of you ❤️❤️❤️,” she wrote.

The pair are also friends with another famous athlete couple: Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles. Rand and Reid attended their wedding in May 2023 and shared photos of the special day. In one snap, she and Reid looked serious, but she assured her followers they were pleased for the happy couple.

“We were happy for y’all on the inside!" she wrote in the caption. "Congratulations @simonebiles @jowens ! Y’all are the most beautiful couple 💕💕💕.”

Tammy Reid, Andy Reid’s wife

While Andy Reid may not be a Chiefs player, he and his wife Tammy are important members of the Kansas City family.

Andy and Tammy met while they were students at Brigham Young University and got married in 1981. They went on to welcome five children together — Garrett, Britt, Crosby, Drew Ann and Spencer — and are just as in love as ever.

"I've been … with her for about 40 years now," Andy said in February 2020 after winning the Super Bowl with the Chiefs. "Every day is a special day, I'm telling ya. I call her my girlfriend for that reason. You never lose interest if you do that, right, you guys out there? Call them your girlfriend and you always do special things for them."
